About Hinkley Point C The first new nuclear power station to be built in the UK in over 20 years; Hinkley Point C in Somerset will provide low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes, create thousands of jobs and bring lasting benefits to the UK economy. Marking a significant milestone in the revitalisation of our nuclear power industry, Hinkley Point C will make a major contribution to the UKs move to reduce carbon emissions. What you'll be doing As a Cable Compound Logistics Lead, you will have the following responsibilities, Be part of the MEH Alliance Joint Venture documentation relating to the Cable Installation and including (but not limited to) the strategic pre-planning of bulk cabling activities, drum management, logistics, plant, equipment, and resource planning. Quality plans for all plant and Logistics. Cost advice relating to the cable installation logistics. Schedule advice relating to the cable installation/procurement and Logistics. Technical information to support the wider HPC project. Risk management and mitigation strategies Who we're looking for Do you have? Experience in project management and the logistics delivery of complex cable installations. Experience in the management, transport, storage, and handling of all cables. Up to date knowledge of Health and Safety Confident use of IT and MS Office software Ability to obtain a high-level security clearance.
