Main duties of the job
Data analysis, input and reporting
Review of patient waiting lists and RTT
Implementation and adaptation of Failsafe Policies
Recognition and escalation of Open Eyes training needs
Supporting the Ophthalmology Service with Open Eyestraining

Knowledge and Awareness
* A willingness to undertake training as required to deliver the duties of the post
Experience
* A demonstrable understanding of the NHS 18 Week target and associated principles.
* A demonstrable understanding of the NHS Cancer target and associated principles.
* Relevant knowledge and experience of tracking patients through the18 week and cancer pathways
* A demonstrable understanding of the importance of data quality and the impact of poor quality on operational systems
* Experience of delivering 1-1 training.
* Experience of operational administrative work within the NHS
Qualifications
* Educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) including English Language at Grade 4 or above
* NVQ Level 3 Administration or Customer Care/IT or equivalent qualification or demonstrable experience
* ECDL or equivalent
