Overview
Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location. It's our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you'd like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.
The table shows the periods of time in the week we'd like you to be available to work - the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you'll have 3 weeks' notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues, therefore if the times you are available to work match closely but not exactly to the times we are advertising, we'd still love to hear from you.

Pay and hours starts from £13.35/hour, rising to £14.56/hour for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location. Minimum hours: 16 per week, with an option to work a minimum of 12 hours.
We will schedule your contracted hours within the advertised times, with 3 weeks’ notice of your shifts. If the times you are available to work match closely but not exactly to the times advertised, we would still love to hear from you.
You will be responsible for
* Delivering your part of our customer shopping trip by ensuring the van and trays are clean and tidy, and the back yard is clean and free of rubbish.
* Ensuring trays are washed as part of the tray wash process and loading the van, checking roadworthiness.
* Talking to the customer about changes to their order, including substitutions, offering a refund for anything they are unhappy with, and delivering during the customer\'s time slot.
* Calling the customer before arriving if early and calling the store if running 30 minutes late.
You will need
* Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit and ensure the store is best for customers.
* Warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues, understanding the customer and saying "Thank you".
* Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace change within the store.
* Be energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations and maintain balance between home and work.
* Share ideas with your Manager and colleagues on how to improve the store for customers.
* A valid UK/EU/EEA Driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
