Responsibilities
* To initiate contact with potential and current customers to generate and qualify leads, promote the company's products and services, and identify sales opportunities.
* Profile & develop business relationships with prospective Sea Logistics customers through regular face‑to‑face engagement.
* To develop solutions for customers based on detailed understanding of their requirements.
* To take pricing decisions in alignment with the relevant internal stakeholders.
* To prepare, submit and follow up quotations to the customers.
* Record customer‑facing activity in the CRM system meeting desired activity targets.
* Bring a sense of urgency to situations, demonstrate an active approach, be willing to get involved in order to increase the pace and achieve goals.
* To sell KN services sustainably.
* This role has responsibility for building a portfolio of new business customers, with a key focus on customer growth and profitability of your portfolio.
Qualifications
* Experience in freight forwarding preferential, albeit not essential.
* The ability to develop sales leads and build relationships with customers.
* Having a drive, assertion and the ability to communicate with others in a logical manner.
* A self‑starter, competitive, imaginative, enthusiastic, self‑confident, inspiring, logical, systematic and precise.
* A friendly approach and the ability to influence and persuade others are important to the function.
* Effective and proactive time management and forward planning.
* Full Driving License essential.
