Local Project Coordinator (Promoting Good Relations Through Sport)
We are looking for a Local Project Coordinator (LPC) to lead and grow our programmes in Mid Ulster and Newry, Mourne & Down. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in young people’s lives while supporting stronger, more connected communities. This role will require the need to travel, current programmes in Mid Ulster and Newry Mourne and Down, with the option to expand or revisit areas.The successful applicant will:-Coordinate and deliver programmes in schools (Twinnings) and afterschool/evening settings (Bridging Divides).-Manage logistics and operations to ensure smooth, high-quality programme delivery.-Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, community partners, and stakeholders.-Recruit and engage young people from diverse backgrounds.-Support compliance and safeguarding, ensuring programmes meet all organisational, financial and funder standards.
Responsibilities

* General Duties, e.g. support bi-annual events, attend meetings etc.
Skills and Qualifications
* A relevant qualification Level 5 or above in youth work, community development, education, sport development, peacebuilding, social sciences or similar
* OR At least 3 years’ experience coordinating programmes in community, youth, sport, education or peacebuilding settings
* Experience in Partnership & Community Engagement
* Experience in Coordination & organisation
* Accountability and Professionalism
* Knowledge of the Mid Ulster and/or Newry, Mourne & Down area
* Experience in good relations programmes
* Experience with funder reporting requirements
* Interest in sport for community development or peacebuilding
