PIB Insurance Brokers (part of PIB Group) is a dynamic insurance broker attracting individuals with a wealth of experience in the insurance market. The business provides expertise across a broad range of specialisms and is looking for an experienced Account Handler to join their team in Leicester.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain relationships with key existing Retail Insurance, Wholesale Insurance and/or Reinsurance broking clients.
* Develop strategies and goals for the development and management of these accounts, often in collaboration with business developers.
* Liaise with brokers and other colleagues to ensure all relevant information is gathered in the preparation of annual renewals and endorsements.
* Understand client needs and apply knowledge of risks and the insurance market to find and arrange suitable insurance coverage and policies; act in the interest of the client and offer products from more than one insurer to secure the optimal insurance solution.
* Insurance knowledge, ideally commercial lines.
* Strong organisation and attention to detail.
* Good client service and communication skills.
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines.
