Overview
The Assistant Administrator is responsible for working within a busy, fast paced office environment, which is also customer facing. You will assess and agree customer donations via a number of platforms (face to face, online and via email).
You will provide an excellent service to our customers by completing sales and for other tasks delegated by, or set by, the Office Supervisor. The jobholder reports to the Office Supervisor and has no management of staff responsibilities. The jobholder maintains good working relationships with other members of the KFR team, in particular the Operations team, the Warehouse team and the Engineering team. You must have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate on all levels and demonstrating an appropriate level of empathy and understanding. At times you will be required to multitask due to the busy and demanding environment.
The jobholder works a 4-day week (Tuesday to Friday 08.00 – plus 1 in 4 Saturdays –
Salary: £13.27 p/h during weekdays / £19.91p/h on Saturdays (£21,736 p/a).
Duties
* Handling calls with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring effective communication with customers and colleagues.
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.
* Previous office experience is essential for understanding the day-to-day operations of an administrative role.
* Proficiency in computer skills.
* Strong administrative experience with a focus on organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Typing skills with a high level of accuracy for data entry tasks.
* Clerical experience that demonstrates attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures.
