Project Manager - Corporate Fleet Unit at Gloucestershire County Council
Position: Project Manager - Corporate Fleet Unit (Full time, Permanent). Job Location: Shire Hall. Salary: £41,771 - £47,181 per annum. Hours per week: 37.00. Closing Date: 26 November 2025. Requisition No: 12983.
Responsibilities
* Provide project management support for new fleet vehicle and equipment projects, including specialist blue light fire & rescue, electric vehicles and charge points.
* Lead and coordinate project activities across council sites, fleet systems, workshops and related services.
* Analyse complex data to generate solutions and support decision-making.
* Ensure project delivery meets statutory requirements and stakeholder expectations.

* Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
* Experience managing people and projects.
* Working collaboratively with staff across council and fire services.
* Hands‑on approach to fleet management, maintenance, legislation and fleet systems.
