Job Title: Engineering Maintenance Assessor/ Trainer (Trainee or Qualified)
Location: Field/Site based - Learners are based across Cheshire to Yorkshire
Salary: £38,900 - £41,900 (inclusive of car allowance) - Salary depending on experience and qualifications
Type: Full Time, Permanent
Essential Criteria (for all candidates)
* Must hold solid, occupational competency within Engineering Maintenance.
* Ideally hold an Assessor qualification.
* Must hold own Engineering qualification, ideally at Level 4 or above.
* An understanding of Apprenticeship programmes.
* Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
* Must be flexible with travel.
Duties
* Assess/mentor learners working towards Apprenticeships in Engineering Maintenance (Lead Engineering Maintenance Technician; Engineering Manufacturing Technician; Engineering Maintenance Technician - dual and single disciplines).
* Meet Assessor KPIs in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
* Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
* Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
* Support, advise and motivate learners.
* Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners' needs.

* Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
* Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
* Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
