Responsibilities
* Contribute to the provision of specialist paediatric imaging services and further develop services within the trust.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to maintain the highest standards of care.
* Negotiate the proportion of specialist work relative to general radiology provision.
* Supervise radiology SpRs assigned to the department.
* Demonstrate firm involvement in Clinical Governance, Risk Management and Clinical Audit, complying with GMC guidelines and Data Protection legislation.
* Participate in mandatory training required by the Trust.
On‑Call Requirements
* Equitable participation in the general (non‑interventional) on‑call rota, on a 1‑in‑16 basis (subject to change).
* On‑call allowance at Band A with a supplement of 3 %.
* Provide advice, other modalities and backup during outsourced night‑time CT shifts.
* Collaborate with SpRs in the on‑call service.
