About the role
You’ll be working with young people and their families, carers or guardians, to offer tailored support and a safe space to help them address a range of issues that may be contributing to family conflict.
The people we work with experience varied challenges, including: involvement in the criminal justice system; substance abuse; being in the care-system; and adverse childhood experiences.
Working in collaboration with a Mediator, you will be supporting families to engage with the mediation process and other relevant interventions, to reduce the chance of the young person becoming homeless.
About you
We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent communication skills and experience of supporting children young people and/or families.
You should also be:
1. Well organised and effective with your time management.
2. Flexible and creative in your approach to working with families
3. A strong team player
4. Committed to providing the highest quality of support
5. Able to demonstrate our values of compassion, respect, integrity, and innovation in the work that you do.

You’ll be part of a small team, led by a supportive manager. There will be great opportunities for you to learn and develop, while sharing your skills and experiences. You will have access to wider Cyrenians support, including our learning and development programme, and staff wellbeing services.
