This role offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Responsibilities in this project management role include:
* Lead project delivery, ensuring alignment with scope, programme, budget, and quality standards.
* Develop project management plans, including scope, baseline programme, risk analysis, fee estimates, and reporting requirements.
* Mobilise and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, setting clear work packages for technical leads.
* Monitor project finances, including revenue recognition, cost‑to‑complete, forecasting, and margin improvement opportunities.
* Manage invoicing, cash collection, and WIP/debt in line with business procedures.
* Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and regular updates.
* Coordinate and lead progress meetings, producing agendas, minutes, and action logs.
* Identify, record, and manage project risks (including both threats and opportunities).
* Ensure health, safety, environmental, and wellbeing risks are effectively controlled.
* Ensure deliverables meet all technical standards, CDM responsibilities, and quality assurance requirements.
* Mentor junior team members and support capability development.
We'd Love to Hear from You If You Have…
* Experience working within the services sector in project management, business administration, and/or financial planning.
* Experience managing a range of project management activities, including systems (such as enterprise resource planning tools) and delivery processes.
* A strong understanding of commercial and financial project management principles.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Recent, demonstrable experience managing technical projects — highway structures experience is desirable.
