High Voltage Testing (415v - 33kv systems) CT Magnetisation Curves - being able to complete using variac/volt & ammeter as well as CT analyser. Also, polarity check without CT analyser. CT Primary Injection - standard protection (OC/EF/Metering) configuration & high impedance scheme such as Bus Zone protection. Relay Secondary Injection (Both electromechanical and solid-state relays) - to include current & voltage protection. VT Primary Injection Control Circuit Wiring testing & modification. - prove each panel to the associated schematic diagram & fault find. Must be able to read schematic diagrams. Mechanical/Electrical function testing of 415v - 33kv switchboards & networks G59 G99 protection - Under/Over Voltage, Under/Over Frequency, ROCOF/dF/dT. Must be familiar with basic secondary Injection sets such as Sverker 760/780, T&R 100/200ADM, T&R DVS3. Knowledge of B.E.B.S. S12 (1964) wire identification standard as used in all UK HV switchgear.
