Events Assistant | Salary: £24,471 per annum (Full Time) | Loughborough Hybrid (Minimum 3 days working in the office)
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to develop your event planning and administration skills? The Youth Sport Trust is seeking an Events Assistant to support our flagship events, conferences and residential events.
As an independent charity devoted to changing young people’s lives through PE and sport, you will play a key role in helping us achieve our mission. You will join a busy team of three, providing event and project planning to support the National Events Manager and Events Officer, gaining hands-on experience in delivering large-scale events.
Responsibilities
* Support all aspects of event planning and administration, from booking venues and arranging equipment and logistics to attending events and supporting the team on the day to ensure everything runs smoothly.
* Assist with delivering high-quality events for the charity and contribute to the successful execution of flagship events, conferences and residentials.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Strong administrator with excellent PC skills and a keen eye for detail; able to produce simple reports.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships to achieve shared goals.
* Experience of using a CRM system would be advantageous.
* Enjoy working as part of a team, take pride in delivering excellent results, and be willing to travel to and attend events away from home when required.
