Nursery Support Assistant – Barking & Dagenham
We are currently seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Nursery Support Assistant to join a friendly and supportive early years setting in Barking & Dagenham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young children’s learning and development in a nurturing environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* A full and relevant Level 2 qualification (or above) in Early Years (essential)
* Experience working within an early years setting as a Nursery Nurse, Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding, and child protection procedures
* A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to delivering high-quality care and learning experiences
Responsibilities:
* Supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing
* Assisting with planning and engaging activities in line with EYFS
* Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
* Building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
* Supporting the nursery team with daily routines and activities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
