Strategic Guidance: Provide strategic guidance on integrating export control into business processes. Evaluate, implement, and maintain policies in compliance with Customs, HydraForce, and Bosch directives. US Re-export Control: Ensure business compliance with US re-export control regulations. Sanctioned Party List Screening: Conduct screening of business partners. Resolve, report, and document matches. Classification: Classify products according to the consolidated list of strategic military and dual-use items. Classify customers appropriately for review: Civil, Military, Unknown. Export Licensing: Evaluate and document the need for export licenses, especially for controlled items and sensitive end-uses. Training: Conduct internal training on export control regulations. Promote awareness across departments. Audit and Monitoring: Regularly audit export processes and documentation for compliance. Annual Export Control Self-assessment: Report and present findings to commercial management. Qualifications Level 4 Advanced Customs Compliance or equivalent experience. 5-10 years previous experience in Export and Export Control. In-depth understanding of international trade regulations, export controls, and sanctions. Experience in classifying products under export control classification numbers. Familiarity with software tools for automated screening and compliance management. Effective communication to conduct training sessions and articulate compliance requirements. Working knowledge of FourthShift or other MRP systems.
