Physical Activity Learning Lead - Ref: SS07325 G7: £35,412 - £38,220 per annum (pay scales under review) This is a temporary position for 2 years. The Physical Activity Learning Lead will drive strategic learning initiatives, fostering collaboration and learning across local partners in Walsall to tackle physical inactivity and promote health and social well-being. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Walsall focused Learning Lead to join our team at Walsall Council's Public Health department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our mission to combat physical inactivity and its associated health and social challenges. Your primary focus will be on facilitating strategic learning and knowledge sharing among local partners, as part of the Physical Activity Programme Steering Group, with the aim of strengthening our collective understanding and ability to address these issues effectively. Funded through Sport England programme funding, the post holder will work across a range of partners (e.g. Local Authority, Healthcare, Voluntary and Community Organisations and the general public) to drive the development of the work. You will have proven experience in supporting specific communities or localities, demonstrating an understanding of their needs and challenges, a track record of using learning as a driver for change, and hold a relevant degree in a field such as public health, physical activity, or a learning and evaluation related field.
