Our London team is at the forefront of identifying, underwriting and delivering high-value land and investment opportunities.We are now looking for a Trainee Land Investment Surveyor to join our growing Land & Planning team based in the heart of Soho, London.Working Hours8am – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch)About the roleThis is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across both land acquisition and investment sales within a fast-paced London team.Working closely with the Land Manager and/or Investment Associate, you will support the marketing of forward funding and investment assets, assist in managing transactions, and contribute to the financial underwriting of new development opportunities.You will gain exposure to high-value single asset and portfolio acquisitions and sales, developing in-depth knowledge across multiple residential asset classes.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting pre-sale due diligence alongside land, planning, technical and investment teamsAssisting in reviewing and analysing new development opportunitiesContributing to investment committee reportsPreparing financial appraisals and underwriting investment sales across BtR, SFH and PBSA assetsAssisting in the production of marketing collateral for investment disposalsSupporting the drafting and negotiation of heads of terms for land acquisitions and investment salesManaging elements of land or investment transactions, including responding to enquiries and accompanying investors on inspectionsBuilding and maintaining relationships with landowners, agents and prospective investorsAbout YouWe are looking for a driven and commercially aware individual with a strong interest in property and development.You will:Be degree qualified (or equivalent) in a property-related subjectHave experience in a land, investment or development-related role (residential experience preferred)Have strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial modelsDemonstrate strong numeracy and an understanding of development economicsShow commercial awareness of the UK residential property marketBe highly organised, intuitive and reliableBe confident communicating with senior stakeholders, external consultants and investorsBe proactive, motivated and capable of working both independently and as part of a teamWhat We OfferUp to £40,000 per annum depending on experienceCompetitive annual discretionary bonusPrivate Medical Insurance Life Assurance (X3 salary)Opportunity to develop your career within a market-leading living sector developerIf you are looking to build a long-term career in land and investment within a growing and ambitious team, we would love to hear from you.Important note: No agency applications will be considered for this role.
