Vocational Activities Assistant - Kerwin Court, Horsham
Pay Rate: Up to £23,000 per annum
35 Hours per week - Monday to Friday 08.00-16.00

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
* Support service users to maximize independence and well-being through vocational, learning, and recreational activities.
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver tailored programmes to meet individual goals.
* Develop and lead group sessions aligned with service users' outcomes.
* Establish partnerships with external providers to enhance opportunities.
* Contribute to setting and reviewing service user goals related to vocational and recreational activities.
* Organize activities that align with rehabilitation goals and personal interests.
* Undertake risk assessments for activities.
* Support service users in participating in activities.
* Design and lead activities supporting rehabilitation, working with the clinical team.
* Maintain accurate records of service user progress and contribute to reviews.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to service development ideas.
* Establish and maintain professional relationships with service users, creating a homely environment.
About You
* Experience working in a multidisciplinary environment or devising activity programmes.
* Understanding of health and safety in activity design and access.
* IT skills: email, Microsoft Office, internet navigation.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Full driving license and ability to drive service vehicles.
