Area Operations Manager
This is a key role reporting to the Operations Director within our Infrastructure Services team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the London area and managing the supply chain for the ONSA contract. You will oversee Patch Managers and Supervisors, and lead on Safety, Compliance, Street Works, Customer relationships, and strategic relationships with 35 London Boroughs.
Responsibilities include:
* Maintaining performance against contractual metrics
* Ensuring reliable, on-budget delivery through the supply chain
* Managing work stacks and resources effectively
* Driving compliance in safety, quality, and streetworks
* Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
* Implementing service improvement initiatives
* Creating SLA performance reports
* Ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance
* Understanding field requirements for resource planning
Candidate Requirements:
* Strong organizational skills with ability to meet deadlines
* People management experience
* IT proficiency, especially Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
* Excellent communication skills
* Negotiation skills and client management
* Ability to manage targets, priorities, and deadlines
* Risk management understanding
