What you’ll be doing
You’ll be leading multidisciplinary teams across a broad and fast-paced acute care portfolio, with key accountability for:
* Delivering high-quality, patient-focused emergency and acute medical services
* Driving performance against internal KPIs and contractual requirements
* Leading budget, workforce, and service delivery planning
* Championing patient safety and experience at every touchpoint
* Collaborating with senior clinical and operational stakeholders to implement change
* Developing innovative care pathways that reflect local and national priorities
This is a genuine leadership role suited to someone with strong experience in acute operational healthcare management and the confidence to influence at senior levels.
What we’re looking for
You will be an experienced senior operational leader with a proven track record in managing urgent, emergency or acute medical services. You'll need:
* Demonstrable success in large-scale healthcare or acute operational environments
* Confidence in managing multi-site or multi-service portfolios
* Strong leadership skills, including staff performance and development
* Budgetary management and strategic planning capabilities
* A solutions-focused mindset with excellent stakeholder engagement skills
* A genuine commitment to improving patient outcomes and driving innovation
