This is a full-time position supporting a lively Year 2 class, starting as soon as possible and running through until the end of the academic year in July. The Role As a Year 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping pupils transition through Key Stage 1. Your day-to-day will involve: Supporting the Class Teacher in delivering engaging lessons. Leading small group interventions in Phonics, Literacy, and Numeracy. Providing 1:1 support for pupils who require extra guidance to reach their milestones. Assisting with classroom management and creating a positive learning environment. Helping prepare the children for their end-of-year assessments in a low-pressure, supportive way.
