Vehicle Technician required in Kidlington/North Oxford
* Negotiable starting salary plus monthly performance-related bonus scheme providing on-target earnings up to £48,500 per annum pending experience.
* 8:30am-5:00pm Monday to Friday and 1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:30am-12:30pm (paid as overtime).

Our client, a prestige franchise-approved car dealership located in the Kidlington/North Oxford region, is currently looking to hire a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department.
Reporting to the Aftersales Manager and working as part of a large team in a modern workshop environment, your main duties will include fault diagnosis, service, and repair of vehicles as instructed to the standards laid down by the manufacturers and our client. You will need to ensure faults are accurately diagnosed and report to the Service Manager as required on vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance. You must also ensure that quality procedures relating to the function laid down by our client and manufacturers are always adhered to.
To be eligible, you will need to be a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent, with ideally at least 1 to 2 years of practical experience post-qualification. You should hold a UK driving license with minimal points, be a committed individual, and a good team player. The ability to produce high-quality work in a busy main dealership environment and motivation to work towards team targets are essential. Applicants with an active MOT license or experience working within a main dealership would be highly advantageous but are not essential.
