Labour Modelling Analyst

About the Role


As a Labour Modelling Analyst, you’ll support the end to end process of updating and analysing changes in the Labour Model, ensuring it remains accurate to calculate the labour required for our stores to operate effectively.

You’ll produce analysis that supports operational and strategic decision making and contribute to the ongoing development and continuous improvement of the Labour Model.

This is a great role for someone who enjoys working with Excel, has strong numerical skills, and is keen to develop further technical expertise in SQL, Power BI, and modelling logic. You’ll join a collaborative team that is committed to supporting your learning and helping you grow.

What You’ll Be Doing
Maintaining the Labour Model
• Updating the Labour Model with new data, forecasts, and calculations.
• Reviewing and validating datasets, inputs, and outputs to maintain accuracy.
• Modelling proposed changes to determine the labour impact.
• Working closely with the wider team to define modelling requirements.
Analysis & Insight
• Analysing the impact of all changes at both company and store level.
• Providing clear summaries highlighting risks and trends to support retail and central teams.
• Supporting queries about store changes and model outputs.
Development & Continuous Improvement
• Testing changes before they are released.
• Supporting improvements to model logic and automation.
• Helping ensure the model evolves in line with changes to store processes and wider business needs.

What We’re Looking For
Essential
• Confident user of Excel, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables.
• Strong numerical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to plan and prioritise effectively.
• Solution‑focused mindset.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn.
Desirable
• Understanding of SQL or Power BI.
• Experience in retail, HR, Workforce Management, or other analytical environments.
