The service offers support to 10young people in their tenancies providing emotional support that involves building positive relationships. As a Transition Mentor you will joining a well established team whoplay a key part in promoting positive role modelling, ensuring that each young person's voice is heard and their individual needs are met. You will contribute towards promoting healthy lifestyles and ensuring people have access to information and opportunities withinthe local community. This is a permanent, full time position working39 hours per week. Sleepover shifts may be included on a rotational basis and paid at the hourly rate. Whatyou will need to bring to the role Ability to build trust long last relationships to effectively support young people and their families while maintain boundaries. Excellent communication skills and Knowledge and experience of supporting young people who have experiencedhomelessness and/ortrauma in their young life. Reliability and commitment to delivering a vital service within a community setting. Resilience and ability to respond approach positively any conflict or signs of distressing behaviour. ??
