Overview
Sexual Health Fife is a forward thinking multidisciplinary team delivering sexual and reproductive health care for Fife’s population. A vacancy has arisen within the nursing team for a Registered Nurse (Adult). This post will cover the delivery of services Fife-wide.
Responsibilities
* Deliver autonomous, accessible, high standard, culturally sensitive and rights-based Sexual and Reproductive Health care.
* Work as part of a supportive and dynamic team, and collaborate with partner services and third sector agencies to deliver a quality, patient-centred service.
* Progression to Band 6 on completion of competencies which include the Postgraduate Certificate in Sexual & Reproductive Health and the non-medical prescribing qualification.
* Contribute to a culture of learning and quality improvement and maintain a commitment to professional development.
Qualifications and experience
* Registered Nurse (Adult).
* Some experience in sexual health or a related area; a non-judgemental, person-centred approach; and the ability to use initiative.
* The post holder will function as an autonomous practitioner.

* Mention of Annex 21 and progression framework for candidates starting at lower bands; progression to higher band on meeting full requirements.
