Job Title: PMO Analyst (Clean Rivers and Seas Task Force)
Location: Flexible – 2 days a week in our Falmer or Durrington office or less if required
Contract Type: Full-time
Hours: 37 hours, Monday - Friday
Salary: up to £50k
Storm overflows are very provocative and not acceptable to our customers and stakeholders. We want to lead the charge in resolving the current situation. That’s where our Clean Rivers & Seas Task Force comes in, creating pioneering and industry-leading solutions to reduce spills and reliance on overflows whilst also enhancing the environment for our communities. Currently are delivering a £45million pathfinder programme which rapidly expands to £1.5billion over next 10 years. The programme has been very successful and we are now expanding the team so we can continue to work in partnership to deliver a larger programme of sustainable and innovative interventions to reduce the use of storm overflows.
A brand new position has been created to join our Clean Rivers & Seas Task Force as a PMO Analyst.
Job Overview
The Programme Management Office (PMO) provides the central ‘hub’ for the projects and programmes within the portfolio. The PMO analyst is a key member of this team whose responsibility will include delivery lifecycle governance, financial management, internal and regulatory reporting and analytics, assurance / quality control, updating processes and templates.
1. Financial management: tracking, reporting, analytics, purchase order and invoice process, financial systems updates
2. Regular project, programme, and portfolio reviews
3. Planning, reporting, control, analytics and identifying trends: financials, risks, issues, changes, dependencies, post project reviews and lessons learnt
4. Prioritisation: identifying gaps, conflicts and options and co-ordinating decisions
5. Development and maintenance of governance processes and standards, driving adoption
About You

6. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills – building relationships with a variety of primarily internal and some external providers at a range of levels.
7. Have excellent organisational and prioritisation skills – managing a number of deadlines across multiple projects
8. Excellent attention to detail with an understanding of data and numbers
9. Experience in Agile and/or Waterfall advantageous
10. PMP, Prince 2 or equivalent certification beneficial but not essential
11. Excellent demonstrable experience of scoping and delivering PMO services
12. Experience of the full delivery lifecycle and project management tools and technique
13. Experience of project, programme and portfolio reviews, reporting and analytics
14. Regulated industry exposure is a bonus

Package
This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a hybrid approach to working between our Durrington or Falmer offices and home.
