Role Overview
Oxford Brookes Law School is seeking a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to support teaching, student experience, research/knowledge exchange strategies and legal practice‑oriented and legal skills teaching.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging, high‑quality teaching across a range of law modules.
* Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate dissertations.
* Support students with academic guidance and student experience development.
* Develop new programmes, curriculum innovations and co‑curricular activities.
* Organise events and enhancement activities associated with co‑curricular leads.
* Contribute to administrative duties and broader academic life of the School.
Qualifications – Senior Lecturer
* PhD or equivalent legal practice or academic experience.
* Significant experience of teaching, mentoring, administration and leadership.
* Established record of high‑quality research outputs, knowledge exchange or equivalent professional activity.
Qualifications – Lecturer
* PhD completed or nearing submission or equivalent legal practice experience.
* Demonstrable record of administrative, research and teaching activity (or evidence of ability to teach).
* Potential for developing a record of high‑quality research outputs and/or knowledge exchange or student experience activity.
