Warehouse Operative Freezer - Night Shift (22:00 - 06:00)
40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, to include weekends on a rota basis
Temperature-controlled (-23°C to 4°C) environment
Pay is based upon your productivity utilising a Standard Hour scheme:
90% performance £12.90 per hour
100% performance £14.10 per hour
110% performance £15.51 per hour
120% performance £16.92 per hour
(all inclusive of £1.80ph Night Shift allowance and £1.18ph Freezer premium. Work conducted outside the freezer as and when required will not feature the premium)
As a Warehouse Operative in Bedford (MK41 7BJ), you will play a crucial role in the accurate and efficient assembly of customers' orders. We are seeking motivated, friendly, hard-working individuals who thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accurate assembly of customers' orders
2. Picking and loading goods onto cages in a safe and manageable manner
3. Adhering to stock rotational procedures
4. Performing accurate and efficient duties within other warehouse functions
5. Accurate marking and storage of assembled orders awaiting dispatch
6. The accurate loading of customer orders onto company vehicles
7. Ensuring that drivers’ run-sheets, documentation and vehicle keys are distributed correctly on completion of loading
8. The preparation of vehicles prior to loading
