Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Primary Care Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Grendon Hill & Spring Hill in North Buckinghamshire. The role spans both a Cat B Trainer site and a Cat D male resettlement site.
Hours
Full-time: 37.5 hours per week on a 2‑week rolling shift pattern. Typical shift: 7:30 am – 7:00 pm on weekdays. Works 3–4 long days per week and one in two weekends (7:45 am‑5 pm). No night work.
Salary
Annual salary up to £54,397 FTE, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities
* Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver a nurse‑led service and prevent hospital admissions
* Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency responses, assess patients, and conduct reception screening
* Provide outstanding evidence‑based care, seek, listen to and act on patient feedback
* Deliver non‑judgemental care that makes a real difference
* Forge strong links with partners and stakeholders, fostering trust and pride in the service
* Promote best practice, clinical supervision, evidence‑based care and continuous quality improvement
* Share knowledge, skills and expertise to ensure safe care and support multidisciplinary teamwork
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse (Adult)
* Prior primary care or substance misuse experience desirable, or willingness to learn
* Current professional registration (NMC)
* Experience with long‑term conditions desirable
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Understanding of multi‑disciplinary and multi‑agency working
