Shipping & Export Administrator (Temporary – 6 Months)
£16.50 per hour | Inside IR35

We are recruiting for a Shipping & Export Administrator to join a well‑established manufacturing organisation on a temporary basis for an initial 6‑month contract, with potential for extension.
This role is focused on supporting the continuity and compliance of shipping and export activities, ensuring systems, upgrades, and spare parts are dispatched accurately and on time.
The Role Reporting to the Logistics Specialist, you will provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the shipping and export function and act as a central point of coordination across the factory.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring all systems, upgrades, and spares are shipped on a daily basis
2. Liaising with shipping partners to ensure availability meets operational requirements
3. Supporting the coordination of calibration activities
4. Working closely with dispatch to track systems held in off‑site storage and update relevant stakeholders
5. Identifying and flagging shipping cost issues and supporting resolution
6. Continually reviewing processes to help improve efficiency in collaboration with other departments
7. Carrying out general shipping and logistics administration as required
About You This role would suit someone with strong administrative experience who is organised, detail‑focused, and comfortable working in a structured, fast‑paced environment.
You’ll need:
8. Previous administration experience
9. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
10. Strong verbal and written communication skills
11. Ability to work on‑site in Bristol
