Job Overview
Band 3 Rheumatology DAWN Remote Patient Monitoring Assistant Administrator (not remote/home working). This role does not offer visa sponsorship.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a remote/home‑working role – you will be required to work on‑site at the hospital.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients on a remote monitoring pathway are managed smoothly.
* Support robust monitoring of patient conditions with Rheumatology CNSs and Consultants, acting according to specialty instructions and SOPs.
* Collaborate with DAWN/Biologic Multispecialty Remote Monitoring Administrator for Integrated Medicine and Rheumatology Clinical Administration Team to provide cross cover.
* Ensure high levels of patient and clinician satisfaction through accessible, customer‑focused and knowledgeable support.
* Provide consistent approach across the Trust, ensuring functions of the role are carried out correctly within given timescales, as per SOPs.
* Deliver polite, clear and accurate advice line support for patients, documenting all communication on EPR and DAWN with some self‑guided initiative.
* Work autonomously and seek help from clinicians when appropriate.
Qualifications & Skills
Education / Qualifications
* GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths, grades A‑C.
* NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration / Customer Care or equivalent experience (desirable).
* Experience of working in NHS healthcare administrative system and process (desirable).
Essential Skills
* Polite, clear and accurate telephone manners.
* Excellent communication skills with ability to liaise with multidisciplinary team members and patients.
* Motivation to learn, develop and progress.
* Excellent timekeeping and management.
Desirable Skills
* Understanding of patient priorities and performance targets related to appointments and waiting times.
* Ability to liaise with Primary Care, GP and community services.
