Role Overview:
As a Sales Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the sales team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and delivering excellent customer service. You will handle sales enquiries, process orders, manage documentation, and maintain strong communication between customers, suppliers, and the internal team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing sales orders, quotes, and invoices accurately and efficiently
* Handling customer enquiries via phone, email, and in-person
* Assisting the sales team with account management and follow-ups
* Coordinating with warehouse and logistics to ensure timely deliveries
* Maintaining up-to-date records in the CRM system
* Preparing sales reports and supporting the management team with data
* Ensuring a professional, helpful, and positive customer experience
Skills & Experience Required:
* Previous experience in an administrative, sales support, or customer service role (preferably within construction, timber, or steel supply)
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* Confident in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems
* High attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
