About The Role
Please note: This role is for Full Time either 33 or 44 hrs per week, must be flexible to cover both Days and Nights, working on a seven-day rota.
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness is at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. You will be responsible for planning and implementing care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence. Building relationships with residents and their families, you will help deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will ensure high standards of care and influence your team positively. Your duties include assisting with daily activities, helping residents at the end of life, communicating with families, and providing social and recreational activities, including medication administration.
Maintaining accurate records and fostering strong team relationships are key responsibilities. Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care or NVQ, and be willing to progress to Level 3. Experience in person-centered care planning and caring for people with dementia is preferred. Your positive energy, ability to manage time effectively, and kindness are essential qualities.
