Operations Assistant

Full time (Monday – Friday)
Balmonds is a fast-growing Brighton-based company making effective natural skincare for sensitive, dry, and eczema-prone skin. Our flagship all-natural eczema balm, Skin Salvation, has won multiple awards and is regularly featured in national and international press. Our brand ethos is inclusive, supportive, skin positive; we aim to represent the realities of living with eczema/psoriasis and to help our customers feel more comfortable in their skin.
Have you got experience working in a kitchen environment? Or a production facility? Or just love the idea of working with lovely natural ingredients to make life changing skincare?
We are a small team with a lovely, friendly atmosphere who all support each other in a kind and collaborative way, with the bonus of a very friendly office dog for mental health support.
We are looking for an efficient, dedicated team member with a great eye for detail and communication skills, who is forward thinking and keen to get involved This is a hands-on role where you'll be involved in everything from customer communication to product preparation, packing, and maintaining high-quality standards.
You'll play a vital part in ensuring our skincare products reach customers safely, efficiently, and with care. Many of our customers live with severe skin conditions, so empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills are essential.

You'll be someone who:
* Has some experience in customer service, packing, production, or kitchen environments, but don't worry if you don't, full training will be given.
* Brings a strong work ethic and a genuine eagerness to learn.
* Has a professional and friendly telephone manner, with patience and empathy when supporting customers.
* Is confident using IT (email, record keeping, basic systems).
* Keeps things organised and tidy, with great attention to detail, even with repetitive tasks.
* Enjoys being creative, adaptable, and flexible in a hands-on role.
* Works well as part of a team and brings a supportive, positive attitude.
