Protech Site Services are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join the team of a 5* residential developer with regional offices in West and East Scotland.
Project Manager – Cladding Remediation
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of the delivery of cladding remediation schemes from pre-construction through to completion. The role will focus on managing the construction phase of façade replacement works, ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed programmes, budgets and quality standards, while meeting the expectations of all key stakeholders. You will oversee several projects simultaneous and organise the commencement of future projects within the pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
* Take responsibility for site preliminaries budgets, regularly monitoring costs and challenging spend where necessary.
* Support the development of construction programmes, methodologies and execution strategies, defining build sequences, durations and key milestones.
* Work closely with Technical and Commercial teams, taking a leading role during the remediation and build phases to ensure alignment across disciplines.
* Lead and coordinate all pre-start Health & Safety requirements, ensuring full compliance with HSE standards and that all plans are in place and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
* Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring design and construction decisions are reviewed for Health & Safety implications and appropriate solutions are implemented.
* Manage and engage with all stakeholders throughout the build process, including residents, management companies and wider project partners, to ensure cooperation and clear communication.
* Oversee construction delivery in line with internal complex project frameworks and agreed governance processes.
* Implement and manage systems for contractor reporting, audit controls and digital quality platforms (e.g. Zutec).
Experience & Qualifications
* Background in façade and cladding replacement projects within residential developments, particularly high-rise schemes (18m+).
* Proven experience operating at a similar level within the construction industry, working with developers, contractors and associated partners.
* Experience managing a wide range of stakeholders, including local authorities, developers, landowners and contractors.
* Solid understanding of construction processes, methodologies and current UK legislation, regulations and industry standards.
