About the Role
As our Head of Client Development, you will take ownership of client relationship strategies, spearhead growth within existing accounts, and lead a high-performing team to deliver exceptional value and retention. This is a leadership role with both strategic and operational influence.
Responsibilities
* Client Relationship Strategy – Design and execute development strategies that deepen relationships, grow revenue, and maximise upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
* Account Growth – Oversee strategic account management and lead efforts to exceed growth targets across key portfolios.
* Client Retention & Satisfaction – Monitor satisfaction metrics, resolve issues proactively, and implement initiatives to drive loyalty.
* Team Leadership – Inspire and manage the client development team, setting clear KPIs, objectives, and adopting performance excellence.
* Collaboration – Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Delivery to align business development efforts with broader goals.
* Market Insight – Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity to effectively position services.
* Reporting & Forecasting – Deliver regular reports and forecasts to leadership, highlighting risks, wins, and strategic insights.
Qualifications
* Experience in client services, sales or business development, with a track record of revenue growth and client retention
* Proven track record in growing and retaining enterprise client relationships
* Strong leadership and people management capabilities
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
* Commercially minded with analytical thinking and data fluency
* Experience within Energy, Renewables, Utilities, Nuclear, Defence, or Infrastructure sectors
