About the Role
We are seeking a dependable driver to join our voids disrepairs team. This is a hands-on role requiring a mix of practical ability, customer service, and teamwork. You’ll be responsible for a wide range of tasks that help maintain our properties to a high standard.
Role Responsibilities
1. Collection and delivery of goods throughout the Borough
2. Supporting the wider team with clearances
3. Carrying out electric and gas top-ups
4. Meeting suppliers and contractors on site when required
5. Replacing light bulbs and checking smoke alarms, demonstrating a proactive approach and commitment to safety standards
6. Installation of key safes
7. Working collaboratively with the Voids, Disrepair, Repairs and Maintenance teams
Role Criteria:
8. Strong teamwork skills and a reliable approach to work
9. Ability to deliver excellent customer service, maintaining a professional and customer-focused attitude
10. Effective communication skills, including written, verbal and interpersonal abilities
11. Ability to make decisions and solve problems independently, showing confidence and initiative
12. A methodical and dependable approach, with a focus on safety, quality and cost control
13. Full UK driving licence required
