Interim-Housing Delivery & Intervention Manager\n\nContract-Initial 3 Month Interim Contract\n Day rate: £600 to £700 per day\n Reports to: Head of Delivery & Assurance\n Location: Newham Council (hybrid; frequent site presence)\n\nPurpose\n\nProvide hands‑on operational leadership for interventions. When programmes or service areas stall, step in to coordinate recovery, unblock dependencies, stabilise schedules, and support Programme Managers and service leads to get delivery back on track-without displacing their BAU ownership.\n\nKey accountabilities\n\nRecovery coordination\nLead short‑term taskforces to accelerate:\nFire safety remedial actions from FRAs (site scheduling, contractor coordination, access strategies).\nElectrical safety EICR catch‑up programmes, including voids and hard‑to‑access homes.\nSmoke/CO alarms compliance verification and rectification runs.\nRepairs backlog clearance with focus on damp & mould cases and statutory health/safety priorities.\nOperational controls\nRe‑baseline work plans, RAID and dependencies; implement stage‑gate checklists; agree milestone acceptance criteria with Programme Managers.\nOn‑site problem‑solving\nConduct site walk‑throughs...
