Are you a proactive Account Manager who enjoys developing relationships, shaping opportunities and selling on value and is now looking for a role with greater ownership, influence and longer-term customer impact?
This opportunity sits within a global market-leading OEM supplying engineered industrial solutions to a prestigious UK customer base. The business is undergoing a major commercial transformation in the UK, moving away from reactive account management toward a proactive, consultative, value-based sales model.
The Opportunity
You will take ownership of a defined portfolio of 5060 established accounts (c. £1.5m annual revenue) with a clear mandate to unlock growth rather than simply maintain relationships.
This role combines business development mindset with strategic account ownership, offering the chance to influence senior stakeholders and shape long-term partnerships across
* Industrial Manufacturing
* Construction
* Maritime
* Logistics
The Role
* Proactively develop and grow a portfolio of strategic UK accounts
* Identify untapped opportunity and increase wallet share through solutions‑led selling
* Engage and influence stakeholders from Operations and Logistics Managers through to Director level
* Lead robust discovery, qualification and account planning activity
* Sell a full range of engineered solutions aligned to customer applications and risk profiles
* Work closely with applications, engineering and service teams
* Help drive the cultural shift from reactive account management to proactive account development
Sales methodology training will be provided; what matters most is your commercial mindset and drive.
What Were Looking For
* A proactive sales professional from an Account Development background
* Experience selling solutions, services or engineered products into industrial, logistics, manufacturing or packaging environments
* Comfortable creating opportunity and leading customer conversations
* Consultative, structured and credible able to sell value over price
* Motivated by autonomy, responsibility and change
* Ambitious and keen to make a visible impact within a growing UK business
