Manpower is recruiting on behalf of a global leader in advanced technology solutions for a Lead Generation Trainee to join their commercial team in Lutterworth. This is an exciting opportunity designed to give you the skills, knowledge, and support to develop into a high-performing sales professional - no prior sales experience required.
What's the Opportunity?
As a Trainee, you'll join a structured development programme where you'll be trained in how to identify new business opportunities, speak with decision-makers, and support the wider sales team. You'll spend your time on the phone engaging with potential customers, updating records in our CRM system, and learning how a global business generates and develops sales opportunities.
This is a hands-on, office-based role where you'll be surrounded by experienced sales professionals, receive regular coaching, and gain real insight into the world of commercial sales.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Making outbound calls to potential customers (businesses, not consumers)
2. Asking the right questions to uncover interest and opportunities
3. Booking appointments or demonstrations for the external sales team
4. Researching contacts and accounts using tools like LinkedIn
5. Updating internal systems (CRM) with key lead information
6. Supporting marketing and sales campaigns
7. Shadowing experienced salespeople in the field to learn on the job
What We're Looking For
8. Someone comfortable talking to people on the phone - from retail, hospitality, or any customer-facing background
9. A willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow your skillset
10. Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and ready to take on a new challenge
11. Well organised, reliable, and confident using basic IT systems
12. Ideally a recent graduate (or equivalent) looking to start a career in sales or marketing
13. A full UK driving licence (for occasional field-based training)
