With offices in East Sussex and Staffordshire, it doesn't actually matter where you are based, so long as you are up for the challenge of delivering outstanding customer service and client management.
TITLE:AccountDirector
PURPOSE:Responsible for the long-term strategic development and overall
leadership of our clients.
SALARY:50k – 60k Depending on experience
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Create, build and maintain strategic relationships with clients
* Understand the client's business objectives and run campaigns that contribute to their long-term success.
* To aim to surprise and delight the client by exceeding expectations on projects’ outcomes and the quality of client service.
* To maximise the contribution to profits from each allocated client account (in line with agency specified levels of margin).
* To ensure the Agency is paid on time for all work.
* To be a core part of the agency growth plans
TASKS
Client Management:
* To contribute strategic insight and direction through participation in discovery calls with current and prospective clients.
* Ensure that clear and accurate briefs are taken from clients.
* Oversee the calibre of project briefs across the CS team.
* Ensure the cost effectiveness and quality of proposals is evaluated before their presentation to clients.
* Identify any client problems at an early stage and facilitate their solution.
* Monitor the effectiveness of channel marketing activity and update plans in line with new recommendations and/or changing conditions.
* Be responsible for driving and sharing best practice in client relationship management.
* Identify and define upsell opportunities across all accounts and develop the most appropriate strategy to capitalise on each relationship.
* To identify new business opportunities that can be passed over to the sales team.
People Management:
* Identify accurately the resources needed to manage the allocated accounts to therequired standard.
* Be responsible for the career development and performance management of CS staff.
* Be the guide, mentor and supporter to other CS staff
* Adopt a leadership style that creates an environment of collaboration and knowledge sharing across the business.
* To be someone that other Agency members look to for inspiration and guidance
* Ensure that all client projects are accurately costed within synergist and that margins are optimised.
* Participate in the negotiation of the Terms and Conditions of Business and ensure they are fully complied with.
* Ensure that all billing is completed in accordance with the Agency’s stated procedures.
General Management
* Contribute to the strategic direction of the company.
* Promote the culture of the company, championing the values and leading by example.
* Participate in regular, constructive communication with all departments to maintain a general understanding of all accounts.
* Always act as an ambassador for the Agency.
