Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our team in a bustling kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Chef in food preparation, cooking, and overseeing kitchen operations to ensure high-quality dishes are served.
Responsibilities
- Supervising kitchen staff in the absence of the Head Chef
- Ensuring food safety standards are strictly followed
- Assisting in food preparation and cooking activities
- Providing support to the culinary team during busy service periods
- Demonstrating leadership qualities in managing kitchen operations
- Overseeing food production to maintain consistency and quality
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a culinary role, preferably in a hospitality setting
- Proficiency in food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Strong team management skills to coordinate kitchen staff effectively
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with the culinary team to achieve culinary excellence
