At HC-One, we are looking for enthusiastic and committed Care Assistants to join our Flex Force team. If you're looking to earn extra money while gaining valuable experience in the care sector, Flex Force is the perfect solution. With contracted hours and guaranteed set pay each month, you'll also enjoy the freedom to choose shifts that fit around your family life or other commitments.
Shifts will be offered across our care homes in the Teesside area, providing you with a variety of opportunities and flexibility to shape your working week. Shifts are scheduled between Monday and Sunday and may include days, nights, and weekends. Flexibility is key to being a Flex Force Care Assistant, allowing you to adapt to the needs of our homes while maintaining control over your schedule.
The homes include: Park House (TS14 6EP), Highfield (TS15 9XH), Roseberry Court (TS10 4BF), St Peters Court (TS10 3JA), and Victoria House (TS18 2DX).
About The Role
As a Flexible Care Assistant at HC-One, you'll value kindness above all. Our focus is on providing high-quality care in Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every team member understands that our residents are people with their own stories, and we aim to give back to them by delivering care that respects their dignity and individuality.
Your responsibilities include:
* Supporting residents with personal care activities such as washing, hygiene, dressing, and assisting with meals.
* Helping residents with limited mobility.
* Taking responsibility for the wellbeing of residents both on and off-site.
A driving license with access to a vehicle is advantageous but not essential. Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility; therefore, you must recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond appropriately. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional role-specific training.
