This is a great opportunity to join a growing small finance team as they expand and grow together.\n\nAbout the Role:\n\nThe role is full time (37.5 hrs pern week) and fully office based, and this is an office environment and surrounds you will be happy to be visiting frequently! As the Accounts Receivable and Credit Control Clerk, you will play an integral part within this finance team of 7, aiding in the completion of a diverse range of ledger accounting tasks.
Collaborating closely with wider finance team you will report into the Finance Manager. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive, self -starter who is passionate about finance, to hone their accounts receivable and credit control ledger accounting skills and make significant contributions to the finance team's performance.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nRaising sales invoices for payments to set time frames\n\nChasing payments via phone, letter and email\n\nInitiating escalation actions to legal\n\nSetting up new customer files\n\nCustomer file maintenance\n\nWorking within Excel\n\nSupporting the wider finance team on an ad hock basis\n\nIdeally you will have:\n\nPrevious experience in a credit control/accounts receivable role or similar role preferred.\n\nAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\n\nWillingness to learn and develop new skills in accounting and finance.\n\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\n\nExcellent communication and relationship building skills.\n\nAdaptable and flexible to change as the finance team improves their processes.\n\nThe ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.\n\nExcellent numeracy skills.\n\nConfident with basic Microsoft Excel tasks.\n\nWhat's on offer:\n\nOn-site parking.\n\nFriendly supportive team environment.\n\nStunning working environment and facilities.\n\nVaried and interesting role responsibilities that you can take ownership of.\n\n25 days holiday plus bank holidays\n\nPlease apply if this sounds like something you are interested in.\n\nAt Gleeson Recruitment Group, we embrace inclusivity and welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities.
