Overview
The successful candidate will:
* Lead the planning, development and delivery of the Engineering curriculum at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5
* Teach highly intentional lessons that engage, challenge and inspire students
* Develop a coherent and ambitious curriculum that builds strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
* Monitor student progress and implement strategies to ensure excellent outcomes
* Promote a passion for engineering and STEM across the school
* Support students in progressing to further education, apprenticeships and careers in engineering
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning
* Hold excellent subject knowledge in Engineering or be willing to upskill quickly
* Be an exceptional classroom practitioner with a track record of strong student outcomes
* Demonstrate the ability to engage and enthuse students about engineering
* Have experience teaching Key Stage 4 and/or Key Stage 5
* Be committed, enthusiastic and driven, with a passion for inspiring young people
* Be keen to contribute to the continued success of a high-performing school and sixth form
