We’re looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our friendly and dedicated team.
In this role, you’ll manage the end-to-end payroll process for around 2,000 employees across our diverse portfolio — including hotels, restaurants, and care homes.
You’ll ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payrolls across multiple pay frequencies, working closely with HR, Finance, and Operations to deliver a seamless payroll experience. You’ll also help shape process improvements, enhance system efficiency, and be a key point of contact for payroll queries.
We build and operate an exceptional portfolio of hotels, restaurants, and care homes across the UK—from London to Edinburgh, Bristol to York. Our properties include:

* 🏨 The UK’s first Four Points Flex by Sheraton in London Euston
* 🍗 38 KFC restaurants in the Midlands & North East
* 🏥 3 care homes in Sussex
The role:
* Own the full payroll cycle — processing, validation, compliance, and reporting.
* Manage statutory payments (SSP, SMP, pensions) and ensure HMRC compliance.
* Collaborate across teams to maintain data accuracy and improve processes.
* Support audits, reconciliations, and payroll cost reporting.
* Drive system improvements and maintain process documentation.
* Proven experience managing end-to-end payrolls in a multi-site or complex business (hospitality or care sector a plus).
* In-depth knowledge of UK payroll legislation and pension auto-enrolment.
* Strong Excel and payroll system skills (experience with Fourth is advantageous).
* Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
* CIPP qualification (or working towards) desirable.
