HGV Class 2 Driver (13 week Temp-to-Perm)
Our client is currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver on a 13 week temp to perm. Our client is within the kitchen manufacturing and delivery sector.
This is an urgent requirement, with a view to start as soon as possible following interview and induction.
Role Overview:
1. Delivery of kitchen units to retail and contract customers across the UK.
2. Manual handling of kitchen components is a key part of the role.
3. Up to 2–3 nights out per week required (overnight allowances paid).
4. Responsible for timely, safe, and professional deliveries.
5. Compliance with EU Drivers’ Hours Rules and Working Time Directive.
Requirements:
6. Category C (Class 2) Licence – with a clean driving record.
7. Valid Driver CPC.
8. Digital Tachograph Card.
9. Physically fit – capable of manual handling.
10. Reliable, professional, and customer-focused.
11. Multi-drop or home delivery experience is desirable.
12. 2 – 3 nights out a week.

Once permanent with the client:
18. £16.72 per hour
19. Holiday entitlement – 25 days

21. £25 per night out plus extra £15 per night out if sleeping in cab = £40
