Nu Staff recruitments client based in Lydney are looking for a Forklift Driver / warehouse operative for 1 month initialy (could be much longer) to start as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, completing warehouse tasks and forklift driving as required. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 07.30 -16.00 Friday 06.00 -14.00 Pay : £12.21 to £13.50 based on experience Duties Mostly warehouse work - loading bags with pellets - weight up to £25kg Load and unload goods from lorries, using forklift licence Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as necessary, adhering to safety protocols. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse. Maintain an organised workspace, keeping aisles clear and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. working in a factory environment Experience The ideal candidate should possess: Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential. A valid current counterbalance forklift licence Proficiency in basic maths for inventory management purposes. Experience with materials handling techniques to ensure safe lifting practices.
