We are looking for an enthusiastic, client-centered Physiotherapist that enjoys working within interdisciplinary teams and is passionate about supporting clients in achieving their goals.
This is an ideal opportunity for a dynamic, pro-active clinician to be part of our team. This post offers an exciting challenge to work with a complex clinical caseload of general medical conditions of older people and complex neurological conditions, and focuses on client-centered practice within a holistic approach. You will provide assessment and treatment for clients within individual and group sessions; good communication skills are essential. You will receive regular supervision, training and appraisal to support your development needs.

* Ward 12, West Heath Hospital - Sub-acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit
* Ward 8, Moseley Hall Hospital - Inpatient Stroke and Neurological Rehabilitation Unit
* Ward 9, Moseley Hall Hospital - Neurological Rehabilitation Unit
* Anne Marie Howes - Inpatient Intermediate Care Unit
Responsibilities
* Clinical diagnosis, assessment and ongoing physiotherapeutic management of in-patients, including complex permanent disabilities, multiple pathologies, life-limiting conditions and challenging and unpredictable behaviours.
* Provide physiotherapy intervention on the bedded units and gym settings, and undertake assessments of patients in their own homes prior to discharge.
* Work with and support more junior colleagues, physiotherapy students on placement and work-experience students.
* Act as a source of advice and information for colleagues of all disciplines, patients and their carers/relatives.
* Promote and maintain the ethos of physiotherapy in all clinical and professional activities.
* Work flexibly across a 7-day working pattern and provide support within all inpatient units across the Trust as and when required.
